My family have just returned from Skipsea Sands Holiday Park and have had the most upsetting & disappointing time .In the caravan next door there were 8 young lads , The first night when we arrived back at the caravan about 8.30 the music was fairly loud ....it got louder and louder this was until about 2.30am .Saturday we were all shattered , but wanted to have a good day so set off to Brid . When we came home it was very quiet we assumed they had gone to the club It stayed quiet till midnight then we heard them shouting walking back . music went on and it was like a outside rave , they were shouting singing music getting louder and louder ,we counted at least 17 people there , inside and out of caravan .We called security who came and and just said "hi lads we don't want to spoil your fun just turn it down a bit - walked off 5 mins later music even louder , she never came back to check - Shocking - what a waste of time so basically no regard for other customers staying at the park , at 4am we heard them jumping about on the furniture and stuffed getting smashed , this was all out in the garden with god knows how many bottles and all the rubbish thrown over ,it looked disgusting . such a wonderful break away so far .So off we went to reception Sunday morning to complain again , receptionist admitted they had had others complaints and she had seen it too the day before her words" they were on our radar " well bloody do something then ... they said if they carried on that night they would be asked to leave ,,, what at 10 am monday morning when they were leaving anyway , so again not interested in there other guests After returning to the caravan , the music was back on full blast and all outside shouting they told us to F.... OFF... BACK UP TO RECEPTION AGAIN ,MET WITH A LOOK OF BOREDOM AND TOTAL DISINTEREST. I asked for the email address to complain too and was told she was doing it and i said I would like it too as i want a full refund for this ,but she couldn't give me it , said PARK RESORTS WOULD BE IN TOUCH ... I complained that they didn't seem very interested and that we wouldn't be staying another night .10 minutes later they rang me and said they would move us , upgrade us although this model didn't have decking which i had specifically chosen but it had a bay window.... go figure , who needs outside seating in the sunshine when we can look out of a bay window at it ...... and if possible could we keep it as clean as possible as they had other guests going in later that day ... shouldn't a full deep clean be done anyway between guests... very patronising as our other caravan was spotless when we left it .They were moving us for our own SAFETY ... I didn't think we should have to move as we hadn't done anything wrong , AND IT SHOULD BE THEM AND REMOVED FROM THE SITE ..TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATES:ANY VIOLENT, ABUSIVE , DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOUR TO STAFF OR GUESTS THEY WOULD BE REMOVED OFF SITE But obviously they didn't want to have them in another caravan for them to destroy and i do believe they didn't want the hassle of confronting them . We lost a full day Sunday my sister and her husband went home as they were so upset and tired ,my son was in bed all day absolutely knackered ...and now i cant get in touch with them to complain We have all worked through lockdown we were so looking forward to it and it was a complete waste of money . If anyone knows the best way to contact them for a refund please let me know , i will be taking this further until i get one .. We used to have a family caravan on here and used to come all the time , it has changed so much .

Stayed at parkdean Torquay last week (20th July 20) we did have the chance to cancel due to Covid but decided to go as we were ensured the cleaning of the caravans had been stepped up . We got in there and as we were a party of 8 we would be using the sofa bed . When we arrived someone from maintenance was there fixing it , you’d think this would mean they had checked it had been cleaned ...no it was filthy and covered in mini shredded wheat and crisps that someone had ate. We decided to clean the surfaces and fireplace ourselves it was also filthy , we even found a pair of dirty socks on top of the bedroom cupboard . We decided it was a lesson learnt and as we had now cleaned it we would stay. The day before we were due to leave the people in the caravan next door left and the cleaners went in , we watched a young lad squirt washing up liquid on the kitchen floor and wipe it up with a dirty towel and his foot! We were gobsmacked , what part of there’s a pandemic do they not get . Stop telling customers they are safe to come as your cleaning is up to a high standard when clearly it’s not !!!!

The member of the cancellation team was rude and arrogant. We double booked accidentally and they were not willing to waiver any deposits other that what the system said (£25 out of the £100 deposit). He litterely read from the script and just put the phone down on me at the end.Be VERY careful when booking with these.Update*** Adding to the rather pathetic and equally scripted response before from the park. If you were as sorry for my bad experience as you claim then refund me the rest of my deposit...

If your holiday gets cancelled they take well over a month to refund your money. During this time they also lie, make up new terms and conditions and constantly change the goal posts, hang up the phone on you, take 3 days to reply to messages and then they also ‘forget’ to process your refund if you complain. All the while posting tweets advertising all of their wonderful new deals (that their poor existing customers can’t book because they won’t give them their money back) Shocking company do not book and if they’ve messed you around then contact the Financial Conduct Authority and report them. Hopefully, judging by the amount of complaints on Twitter about them and the 86% of poor reviews on here, they will go bust soon!

I booked a holiday a few months ago for March 29th in trecco bay, you announced the beginning of March both on your website and Twitter you are planning to open on the 29th so me and my house booked the time of work, we then listened to the announcement on Friday March 12th from the welsh government to say that self contained accommodation can open so was very excited about our holiday then to find out that you’ve decided to be like England and wait till April 12th to open even though the government has given you the all clear to open, and you announced 2 weeks before you were excited to be opening on 29th March 2021. I’m disappointed with the customer service you have to offer and the lack of communication, me nor my family can change our holidays we booked of work, and was even more disappointed when we looked to book for may half term and you want to charge £599 for 4 nights, which is a ridiculous amount and I can go abroad for little to no difference in price. I will never book a holiday with you again as you can’t make up your mind you say one thing and do a different thing. Your communication is appalling.

This company are ripping people off! I had to cancel my booking within 23 hours of booking it unfortunately . After trying to get through to them for a full day! ( long phone line queues) They have charged me £50. I paid £25 for early entry and it looks like they are keeping that money REALLY for a holiday I no longer can make!! Do not use this company BEWARE.

I've booked holiday caravans with them many times before and had no complaints, this time when something went wrong, the ugly side appears. I put a £50 deposit down and missed a further payment by 1 day, without any warning the holiday was cancelled by them, still willing to pay, after 25 minutes on hold by phone, I hung up. Couldn't access my account anymore after the cancellation by them, now trying to get my £50 back from the credit card company I paid with and that's another story.Well I received a reply from Park Dean resorts, to be honest I'm sick of these polite replies from dishonest companies where they try to make you feel good but nothing changes, my problem be and stance remains the same and nothing has changed to my satisfaction, just another company that works fine as long as you don't need their help.

Didn’t get off to a good start, when they sent a text, rather than an email reminds that the balance was due. Text was worded to sound threatening and only mentioned ‘losing your deposit’ without any reference to park dean or caravan. We have a very basic phone and thought it was a scam. Next day they sent an email this time, informing us that our booking was cancelled and deposit lost. Tried to get in touch but no one answering the phone. If it wasn’t for the friends we were meeting there, we wouldn’t have found out how to ring the park reception direct. Upshot is, one day late and they demanded an extra £40!If we hadn’t been meeting friends there we would have dumped this shower there and then, but we had no choice but to pay up. Caravan site was very wet after hurricane Alex and no path to the door so having to cross mud to get in. No doormat, so walking mud in all the time. We had various people come and ask if all was ok and we mentioned the doormat each time. Several promises but no action and it hadn’t even arrived by the time we left. Also marshalls to show directions on arrival, that were promised in email, removing need for booking in at reception, were non existent and we were asked to call in at reception as they knew nothing about non contact booking in. Reception also said on the phone that they couldn’t guarantee that we could get in at 4pm as advertised, as the cleaning might not be finished. When asked what time we could guarantee getting straight in, (as we were driving 3.5hours to get there) they said they couldn’t, but don’t ring them, they would ring us. They never did of course.Wont ever be going back or having anything more to do with parkdean. Undoubtedly some people are lucky but on our experience cannot recommend at all.

We stayed at the Windermere site in September, Will NEVER visit a Parkdean again!!!We were greeted on the lodge door with a sign to say it had been enhanced cleaned! It was filthy, we complained, they send someone with a hoover!I had taken the fridge glass shelves out to clean them, they had what look like congealed milk on them. They cutlery tray was dirty and looked like a baby had put contents back in it.Everywhere looked like it had been wiped with a dirty cloth. The beds were comfy and linen clean, but badly made. The problems we had was a shame as the area was beautiful and this site could be a real gem, obviously the management team need a shake up!

loved it, loads to see and do, crab fishing, shops and a few pubs, car parks, lovely sights awesome, great hoilday park, right next door to the beach, and harbour didnt want to come home,,

I wish I could attach a photo for everyone to see. Ordered chicken wings for £7, and Received 4 teeny tiny chicken wings and 2 lettuce leaves. Was a shocker. My friend ordered a chicken wrap for £11.95 and received a plate full of bread with 3 slices of chicken inside. When we said we thought it was poor, the waitress said “yes it is” and walked away!!!! Total rip off and such poor quality

Still no refund after holiday was cancelled due to COVID 19 in May. Have rang then multiple times

This review is about the Sales team of Cresswell Towers.I was in the area as we were looking for a Preloved static Caravan. I phoned them up to see if I could make a appointment. The man I spoke to and made a appointment in the afternoon was Ian,we got there and he was expecting us. It turned out that he was the sales Manager,he was very good and informative. He was not pushy and showed us 3 caravans that were for Sale. Then he took us around to show us 4 plots available each time giving us info like the location of things weather it was facing NSEW if it was a quite location etc. He also showed us what facilities on the park had. He took his time we put a deposit down before leaving. The next morning I phoned up as I had a query although Ian was not available I spoke to Richard of the sales team who answered my question fully.

We went to Thornes Bay in the Isle of Wight. I have mixed emotions about a long weekend. First of all the place was very clean and staff very friendly. However there was not enough staff in the restaurant, so from ordering a meal we waited over an hour for it to come and a medium well stake was extremely well done. A few meals were returned during the stay. However that is not even the worst of it, due to covid 19. When you enter the restaurant they take your card details and bring everything to your table. That is not an issue, what was was being charged twice for 2 seperate meals at the same time. Their response was they do not make mistakes and it must be our fault. So we paid £90 for a meal we did not have. Our credit card is now dealing with this, mistakes happen and they charged someone else's table to our card and we didn't find out till after we got home. The only way to contact them was via emails as no one was answering the phone, even being on hold for an hour day after day.
